In with the new year, out with the Flash - WST

The writing has been on the wall for a while now regarding Adobe Flash Player, and the end has finally come. As of January 12, 2021, Flash content will no longer render in Flash Player, and the latest browser versions are removing all Flash capabilities. Adobe has sent the word out to remove the application from any system, as it stopped receiving any kind of support on December 31, 2020.

10-D Security echoes this call and would suggest setting aside some time this month to review any systems in your network that could potentially still have Flash Player installed. A little bit of time and effort can go a long way in keeping your systems safe in 2021.
